They are seeking a Business Development Officer who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities through various channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and regularly update the CRM system.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze data to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
- Monitor industry developments and recommend strategies to enhance market presence.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate on special projects.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
Hybrid Work Flexibility:
- Adapt to a hybrid work model, balancing remote work with on-site client meetings and team collaboration.
- Utilize digital communication tools to maintain productivity and collaboration in a remote setting.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities as required.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
